Introduction

Welcome to AIVidyaSetu, accessible at https://aividyasetu.com. We're glad you're here.

This page explains, in plain terms, what information we collect when you visit or use our website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We've tried to keep the legal language to a minimum while still covering everything properly. If you continue using AIVidyaSetu after reading this, it means you're okay with the practices described below.

02

Information We Collect

Some information you give us on purpose. If you email us, sign up for our newsletter, or send feedback through a form, we'll typically end up with your name, your email address, and whatever else you decide to share in that message. Nothing more than what you type in.

Other information gets collected automatically, simply because that's how the web works. When you land on any page of AIVidyaSetu, our servers pick up things like your IP address, the browser and device you're using, which page sent you here, and roughly when you visited and for how long. None of this is unusual — nearly every website logs this — and for us it's mainly useful for spotting which pages people actually find helpful and which ones need work.

03

Log Files

Like most sites, we keep server log files. These record details such as IP addresses, browser type, your internet service provider, timestamps, the pages you entered and exited from, and click activity. We use this data for basic housekeeping — running the site, watching for unusual traffic patterns, and understanding how visitors move around. On its own, this log data isn't tied to who you are personally.

04

Cookies and Similar Technology

We use cookies to make the site work better for you — remembering a preference, keeping a session alive, measuring traffic, or occasionally serving up a more relevant ad. If you'd rather not have cookies, you can turn them off in your browser settings at any time. Just know that a few features here and there might stop working smoothly without them.

05

Google AdSense and Advertising

AIVidyaSetu runs ads through Google AdSense and, at times, other ad partners. Google and its partners may use cookies to show you ads that are based on sites you've visited before, including this one.

If you'd rather not see personalized ads, Google lets you manage that directly here: policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Our advertising partners might also use JavaScript or web beacons alongside cookies to measure how well their ads are performing. We don't have control over what these third-party advertisers do with their own cookies — that's governed by their own policies, not ours.

06

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to get a general sense of how people use the site — which pages get visited, how long someone sticks around, what device and browser they're on, and roughly which part of the world they're browsing from. It's aggregated data that helps us decide what to write about next and what to fix. You can read more about how Google handles this at policies.google.com/privacy

07

YouTube API Services

Our Videos section pulls in content using the YouTube API Services. If you use this part of the site, you're also agreeing to YouTube's own Terms of Service (youtube.com/t/terms) and Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

For the technical details on how Google processes data through the YouTube API, you can check developers.google.com/youtube/terms/api-services-terms-of-service. And if you ever want to revoke AIVidyaSetu's access to your Google account permissions, that option lives at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

08

Links to Other Websites

Every now and then we link out to other sites — a tool we recommend, a source we've referenced, that sort of thing. Once you click through, you're on their turf, governed by their privacy practices, not ours. We'd suggest giving any unfamiliar site's policy a quick read before sharing information there.

09

Your Rights Under CCPA

If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you certain rights over your data: you can ask what we've collected about you, request that it be deleted, or tell us not to sell it (we don't sell data, but you still have the right to ask). Just email us and we'll handle it within the legally required timeframe.

10

Your Rights Under GDPR

If you're in the European Economic Area, GDPR gives you a broader set of rights — to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict how it's processed, object to processing, or receive a portable copy of it. Same as above: reach out by email and we'll take care of it.

11

Children's Privacy

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you're a parent and think your child has somehow shared personal details with us, let us know right away and we'll remove it as quickly as we can.

12

Keeping Your Data Secure

We take reasonable precautions to keep your information safe from unauthorized access or misuse. That said, nothing sent over the internet or stored electronically can be called completely secure — we do our part, but we can't promise perfection, and honestly, no website can.

13

Changes to This Policy

We'll update this page whenever our practices change or the law requires it, and we'll always bump the "Last Updated" date at the top so you know something's different. It's worth a glance every so often.
